ZESCO UNITED OFF TO TANZANIA

Zambian Super League giants ZESCO United are this afternoon expected to leave for Tanzania ahead of tomorrow’s friendly match against Azam football club.

The nine-times league champions are scheduled to leave Ndola at 13:00hrs aboard Tanzania Air and arrive in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania at 18:30.

Coach Mumamba Numba will travel to Tanzania without the services of injured Cyril Chibwe and Spencer Sautu.

Meanwhile Rodrick Kembo and Samuel Sikaonga are the latest additions to the squad that travels to Tanzania today.

ZESCO United have intensified preparations for the league season which kicks off on Saturday, 20th August 2022.

The Ndola based side will also be hoping to use the friendly to asses their players ahead of the CAF confederation campaign which starts next month.
